The Center for Traditional Medicine promotes the cross cultural healing arts and sciences and advances social change to benefit individual and community health through activist scholarship research and practice.

The Center for Traditional Medicine (CTM) is an agency of the Center for World Indigenous Studies a non profit 501 (c) (3) research and education organization.

CTM conducts research, education and clinical treatment that integrates traditional systems of indigenous healing with complementary and integrative medicine. The center promotes social change through its activities by and for Native and Non Native peoples worldwide.

CTM Group Meal
CTM brings together activist scholars and clinicians to mentor and model for students and professionals. The Center activities emphasize how culture shapes illness as well as informs treatment and promotes access to knowledge through its varied activities. Emphasizing community and self care, the center is actively works to deconstruct the dynamics of dominance as it affects relationships among humans, animals and the natural world.
